Pre-Congress Speaker Information

SPEAKER TASKS (Due Dates below)
Please login (if necessary) and complete the following tasks

• Update of your profile (during registration)
• Picture upload (during registration)
• Biography submission (during registration)
• Upload of presentation for CME Review (Due: 2/7)
  • Slide deck must include your disclosure slide and relevant references.
  • This upload MUST include all 5 required compliance slides (including the disclosure slide) by 2/7/25. The compliance slides were emailed to you.

PRESENTATION TIMING BREAKDOWN
Your presentation timing should have been discussed with you by your session Chair.
Please be mindful of your allotted time as you prepare your talk. The timing of all presentations will be strictly enforced by the session moderators.  

CME REQUIRED PRESENTATION CONTENT
Please note that our CME provider, AffinityCE, requires that all slide decks be reviewed prior to the conference per ACCME regulations. Please submit your presentation slides for review by our CME provider by Friday, February 7, at 11:59 PM PT.

We are required to have your presentation with these slides by the accrediting body to accredit your session. The above presentation upload is for accreditation only. You will upload your final presentation in the new content management system. You will still be able to edit the presentation after this date.

• Please check with your session chair, as your session can have one overall presentation file uploaded or each speaker can have an individual presentation file uploaded. Either way, the presentation must have all required compliance slides.
  • If you are submitting one presentation upload for the entire session, please list all speakers and their disclosures on the disclosure slides along with the other required slides.
  • If each individual speaker is uploading their respective presentation, please list your individual disclosure slide along with the other required slides.

SLIDE PREPARATION
As noted above, your presentation slides are due on Friday, February 7, at 11:59 PM PT. for review by our CME provider. Please use the following guidelines when creating your presentation:

• Disclosure/Compliance Slides: You must include a disclosure slide that includes your conflicts of interest. Your disclosure slide must align with the disclosure form you previously submitted. If you have nothing to disclose, you must still include the “disclosure” slide that was emailed to you.
  • You MUST include all 5 required compliance slides (including the disclosure slide). The compliance slides were emailed to you.
• General Guidelines: Consider no more than 1 – 2 slides for each minute of presentation time. Please work to make your slides easy to read, using sharply contrasting text on your chosen background. Select a font and size that will be easily readable and ensure that each slide does not contain so much data/images/pictures that it is confusing or overwhelming for the viewer.
• Template: There is not a meeting-specific template that you must use. 
• Format: We will only accept slides in PowerPoint (.ppt or .pptx). If you are using Apple/Keynote, you will need to convert your presentation to PowerPoint prior to submitting your slides.
• Ratio: 16:9 
• Presenter View: This will not be available, please plan accordingly. 
• File Naming: Maximum of 50 characters. Please use this file naming convention: Day of Presentation and Last Name (i.e. Thu-August-8-Doe).
• Videos: Embed your video within your presentation and bring a backup of your video as a separate file on your USB drive. Internet will not be available onsite at the lectern.
• Animations/Transitions: Ensure that your presentation does NOT have a preset timer to advance slides.
• Presentation Guidelines: Please carefully read the following presentation guidelines.
