Grainne is the Policy and Research Manager with Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, where she is responsible for leading the strategic development of the organisation’s policy and research work. She is currently completing a fellowship programme as an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in Brain Health at the Global Brain Health Institute, Trinity College Dublin. Grainne has been spent her career working in field of neuro disability. She worked in a variety of advocacy and campaigning organisations in the community and voluntary sector. Grainne has led out on several national and international research and policy advocacy projects in the sector and has significant experience of working on rights-based agendas and community development for marginalised and disadvantaged people. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science from University College Dublin and a Masters in Social Policy from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth.
