About the World Congress on Brain Injury
The 15th World Congress on Brain Injury will be held March 19-22, 2025, at the Palais de Congres in Montreal, Canada.

Organized by the International Brain Injury Association (IBIA), the World Congress on Brain Injury is the largest gathering of international professionals working in the field of brain injury. The 2025 World Congress builds on the success of the 2023 Congress held in Dublin, Ireland.

Call for Abstracts
The International Brain Injury Association welcomes the submission of original research and clinical findings on a broad range of brain injury topics and subspecialties. Accepted abstracts will be presented oral presentations or posters. All accepted abstracts will be published in a special edition of IBIA’s official journal, Brain Injury.

Educational Program
The Congress will feature over 120 internationally recognized keynotes, panelists and speakers who will present the latest findings on the assessment, treatment, and future priorities in the field of brain injury research and rehabilitation.  In addition, the Congress will include 200 oral abstract presentations and 600 poster presentations selected through the peer-reviewed abstract process.

The World Congress on Brain Injury will bring together a focused multidisciplinary group of brain injury professionals who are committed to improving the outcome of patients with traumatic and non-traumatic brain injury through the translation of research into clinical practice. 

Delegates are comprised of rehabilitation physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, neurosurgeons, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, nurses, case managers, advocates, legal professionals and all those dedicated to advancing research and treatment for patients with brain injury.

The 15th Biennial World Congress on Brain Injury will take place at the Palais de Congres in Montréal, Canada. Everyone feels at home in Montréal. Historically rooted in a mix of cultures, it is a treasure trove of diversity. Registration and Hotel Accommodation
The International Brain Injury Association has negotiated room blocks at hotels convenient to the Congress venue at a range of price points. Room block and hotel details will be posted in the coming months. Registration rates and the registration site will be open in mid 2024.
